It was the weekend of our church’s (LDS) general conference. Conference was edifying, as always, from the wonderful inspiring messages. Also received texted picture of Elder #2 from the mission field. Better still, conference weekend is always an opportunity to get together as a family and enjoy good times. It was also the birthday (Saturday) of our youngest grandchild/son - he’s three years old. We went over to the birthday boy’s place, did a flash mob dance per his request. Had a barbecue. It was a beautiful evening and his father treated us to his off-road vehicles. Their home is right next to some nice rolling hills with dirt roads and trails, so we spent a good part of the evening blazing the streets and trails of peaceful ranchy and boondocks country.
